For this reason, we utilize cutting-edge procedures and the latest technology. Our use of advanced technology allows us to provide a supreme level of care unmatched by other offices in the area.

New technologies make it easier to prevent, diagnose, and treat potential dental problems. The combination of our expertise, skills, and advanced technology enables us to provide the safest, most effective, and most comfortable pediatric services available today. In fact, after one visit, you may find your child looking forward to their appointments with us!

Digital X-Rays

In dentistry, x-rays have been an important diagnostic tool for many decades. Up until fairly recently, x-rays involved a tedious film development process. The advent of digital x-rays has made this crucial part of pediatric dentistry even better!

Instead of a film slide, a digital x-ray utilizes an electronic sensor that we place in the mouth. The sensor captures radiographic images almost instantly, and with less radiation emission. If an image is insufficient, we can retake the x-ray without waiting for the development process. Digital images are also easy to manipulate, meaning we can zoom in on a particular area to diagnose minor problems.

Solea Dental Laser

Our practice offers the Solea dental laser to provide the best possible patient experience. Solea is the first CO2 dental laser system cleared by the FDA for hard and soft tissue procedures. This dental laser offers a unique wavelength guided by sophisticated computers to deliver many dental procedures without numbing shots and the dental drill.

Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera is a relatively new piece of dental technology that can also be used to diagnose and prevent potential problems. A standard x-ray may not reveal enough information to make a proper diagnosis. With the use of an intraoral camera, we can capture a magnified image to identify problems that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Most intraoral cameras are shaped like a wand, which is easy to maneuver within the mouth. The images are projected onto a screen so you and your child can see what we see in real time. This allows you to take an active role in your child’s professional care.
